My web site is For You, but the blog is for me - it's a kind of therapy, writing things down, getting them out of my head (and heart). Home Page - For You

Damn Weather
I'm getting tired of doona on/doona off/sheet off and air con on/doona on weather!
It's gotten cool again, a nice warm spa would be good around now ...

Hi Nola!
I just noticed your post below about giving up smoking. I finally did it myself through help I got at this website: www.whyquit.com . It's got messageboards with all people from around the world who are also giving up and the support is fantastic. I have been off them for nearly 6 months now which is a world record for me - and it is so worth it. Anyway, just thought I would pass on "the word" as I know how hard it is. Keep us posted on how you go.
Meanwhile, I like your site! Nice work! I'm originally from Perth myself and I also can identify with alot of what you are going through. You have got some good strength going there. V proud.
Hi Nic and thanks for your comments :) - I'm used to folk misspelling my name, you're forgiven :)
I hate to disappoint you but I'm not trying to quit smoking altogether. I know I'm not in the right headspace to attempt that, and the more times you unsucessfully try to quit the less likely you are to *ever* quit; so I'm cutting back - drastically.
Thankyou for your support though, it is not unappreciated!
Personal strength is a funny thing I find, sometimes disappearing altogether at times when you need it most. But it's slowly building within me I think/I hope.
