Anzacs

My ancestors who died in WWII

In Australia we remember those who died in war, particularly World War II, on April 25th each year.

Is there a commemoration in the US? I can't imagine that there isn't but it isn't springing to mind.

There is, but not specifically for WWII. We do recognize several WWII days of significance but the main recognition is left for Memorial Day, at the end of May.

It's a day for remembering veterans from all of the wars we've been involved in.

In addition to Memorial Day, we have Veterans Day, formerly Armistice Day, November 11, a WWI recognition.
