Where There's a Will There's a Fight

I sincerely hope the above statement doesn't become a truism for my family - again. What pisses me off most about it at the moment isn't that the will may be contended, but that they (family member - not some lawyer/third party who didn't know better) chose to bother my mum about it whilst she is still on her holiday in Victoria. Surely it could have waited until she got back, could have let her enjoy her holiday.

Perhaps their enquiry was innocent, but if that were the case why mention the will. I guess we will have to wait and see whether it becomes the Battle of the Wills. (Gran certainly made enough of them, changed them almost as often as she changed her knickers!)

The only saving grace of them ringing whilst she was in Victoria is that the relative whom she was visiting is a lawyer and was able to give her face-to-face advice. I'll be happier when I pick her up from the airport tonight and can give her a hug.

Side note: After much hair pulling and expert help, a faulty memory stick was tracked down as the cause of my computer probs. The new hard drive I bought will not go astray though as the old one was deemed to be a bit suspect when I got my upgrade 6 weeks ago.
