I managed to get Mistyqee's nails done on Christmas Eve. Hers are the ones underneath - dark green with red sparklies.

Mine had to wait until Christmas Day when the kids had gone with their Dad for a few hours. I only had time for one coat of green so it's much lighter than Mistyqees'. Green with a red stripe and gold sparklies.

Not hard to tell which are the Old Crones' hands is it!

Both look very nice. :o) I was just impressed to get the time to paint my nails at all for Christmas. But at least they were a festive red.

both of your nails look gorgeous....thats a fun tradition. for me the only time I have painted nails is when i have fake nails and a manicure.....almost never happens these days.

your hands do NOT look that old!! they look adult covering the child's.

my realization of my hands showing my age came about 10 years ago...

Thankyou both :)

I rarely paint my nails also, and with needing to finish wrapping presents, make potato salad, do dishes, set the table for the morning etc I just ran out of time on Christmas Eve - but at least I got them done in time for Christmas lunch.

My entire skin is showing the ravages of time - getting thin, doesn't heal quickly anymore, looking a bit weathered ... eh, I'm 45, it's allowed to look like that. (Plus I'm very lax on the whole looking-after-myself thing!)
