Not A New Year Post

Noala's Garden Journal

No resolutions, not for this little black duck.

The Sloth Lives!
I've been having a very slothful week, two weeks now left of holidays so starting tomorrow the slothfulness ends.

Slothful But Productive
My slothfulness has been productive however, I've been clearing the folder on my computer that holds pics from my digi cam that I've not gotten around to organising or giving a more meaningful name than DSC000456.

In the process I'm creating an A to Z photo album of plants in my garden for my garden blog (click on link above). Also moved stuff from the main garden page of my web site to the garden blog to free up more space.

PJ Day - "Not Yet"
Today was meant to be my PJ day* but had to take the DVDs back, so it's re-scheduled for Wednesday.
*PJ Day - a day when you don't get out of your PJs all day. My daughter often has these during holidays but I never seem to; always somewhere I have to go, something I have to do outside. her aim for my holidays this year is that I have a PJ day.

Music
I've started to re-introduce music to my life. After three years of driving in silence* I put some CDs in the car. Classical music only.
*Due to the relationship break up I haven't been able to listen to the radio - too many songs about love that just tore me apart. I graduated to changing the buzzer on my alarm to the radio about a year ago, so I have listened to music for about 5 minutes per day. Music used to be a big part of my life.

Legal Matters
I need to decide what to do. Do I throw more money on the fire and go see my lawyer in two weeks time, or decide to just let the whole thing slide.

No, I don't think I can do that. Guess that means more money burning coming up.

Sounds like you DO have a resolution: to end the slothfulness. I'm sure you will. BTW, I live in Texas and I'm an avid gardener.

sounds like you have been busy...not slothful. enjoy the garden. PJ days are a great thing when chosen. Sometimes when I am working from home, I delay dressing until mid day, but that isnt the same.

Glad you are finding music again in your life. I understand the need to have the silence, but music feeds the soul too. I would not survive with out my iPod. my music, my choices. keeps me sane.

thanks for the input on my blog...i got the header up and changed the color (toned it down at least).

Gary, I do the same thing each year - first week (or two) of holidays is spent being very slothful, then for the remainder I often work my butt off making sure I get somethings done around the house before having to return to work. This week it's activities with the kids, next week will be activities/jobs for me/the house. Love your garden pics.

Cris, yeah I'm being careful with the music - my choices, no surprises. I'll come have a look see shortly, just loved the pic in the header :)
