Sad Thought

When I saw that he is/was not alone on his holiday my first thought was "oh well, I guess now I wont be surprised when I get a phone call."

I think that's terribly sad. Why not think "oh how nice for him, he'll be happy cos he's with her again"?

I guess that's what history does though; they've had a very chequered history.

It wasn't all sad thoughts though, I did think it was good cos he has probably gained back some of the weight he had lost.
