Sheeesh I feel like I've had hardly any weekend and here it is, Sunday night and it's back to the grind tomorrow :(
Its just been busy, and hot. Most of my weekend was spent doing things with/for the kids and then today when it looked like I might finally get some time in the garden it was too hot :(
I'm not ready for it to be the end of the weekend :(

Do I understand that feeling. Sometimes I think we misperceive what a weekend is meant to be.
As children, the weekend is the time between school days, time off. As young adults, the weekend is time to party. Sometime after that weekends become the time to take a break, and then they morph into the time to catch up on everything we can't get done during the work week. These days, there is no differece between a week day and a week end.
Wouldn't it be nice if we could have an extra day to pull out of a bag when we felt we really needed it? Oh well, there's always next weekend.
