Melting

It's been very hot here for the last four days so I've been feeling rather lethargic and not been doing much.

It should cool down by the end of the week so maybe I'll be able to actually do something.

Mind you, summer does have its benefits. At 6pm I decided to wash the car. I wouldn't be able to even see the car at 6pm in winter!

BUT!
I've been reading.

No biggie you say, but then you'd be one of the people who don't know that last year I read two books. It was the first time since the breakup I had managed to read.

There was a stall selling books cheaply at the supermarket on Saturday - I bought two books (for less than it used to be for one!)

I'm halfway through the first. I'm rather pleased, and surprised.

Every day in every way I'm getting better and better ... isn't that how it goes?

I think you got that saying right. Good to hear things are going well. How is your garden?

Thanks for the comment Gary :) I view me reading a book as an indicator of progress from the bad place I've been. The book is very light going, but that's not important.
Not much gardening going on here at the moment cos it's too hot to work outside.
The vege patch needs pulling out - didn't do well this year.
But I have mangoes that are starting to ripen on the tree!
More on my garden is available on my garden blogs (see sidebar)

Thanks. I garden early in the morning in the summer. I also have a big electric fan I put behind me. That seems to help a lot.

BTW, I appreciate you coming to my blog even though you don't comment often.
